Glenrothes 7 Year Old 2013 (cask 13900) – Provenance (Douglas Laing)


An indie Glenrothes, bottled up Douglas Laing for the Provenance series. This one was distilled back in January 2013 and left to age in a sherry puncheon for 7 years, before being bottled in February 2020. 428 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note;

Nose: Red apple, raisin and oak damp fragrance, plus some warming clove.

Palate: Sugary coffee, fresh barley, almonds and chocolate biscuits.

Finish: Cinnamon stick spiciness lingers.
